10 Months Old

It is hard to believe that our little boy is 10 months old.  Two more months and then to be 1 year, no way!  Dylan had his first day of daycare last week.  He did very good.  He is goes to daycare at a lady's house and she has two boys of her own and another little boy that is 12 months.  She is very flexible, so it really works with our crazy schedules.  This week he also got his first cold.  I would like to blame daycare but unfortunately I think I am the culprit.  I feel so bad for him. He is now getting better but to hear him cough and sneeze...ohh, it's sad.  A funny story though..two days ago I woke up to him crying and coughing in his crib,  I went over got him and once I put my glasses on I saw that he had boogies all over his face, hair, shirt.  It was a sad sight to see but oh so funny!

Lately we have been on the go.  A few weeks ago we went up to Snowbird to watch the last leg of the Tour of Utah bike race.  The weather was perfect and the wind was definitely in favor of the riders going up the canyon.  Last week we went to the Aquarium.  We have never been there and it was a lot of fun.  It was so neat to see Dylan's reactions.  I even touched a sting ray although my favorite part was the penguins.

Dylan is getting so adventurous.  He now has enough strength to get into all of the drawers and cabinets.  When we are outside he is instantly attracted to the dirt.  He loves to chew on anything and everything.  He now has three teeth up top and three on bottom.  He is cruising around by using furniture to walk around.  This week he has started to stand on his own, but only for a few seconds before holding back on to us or the furniture.  Sippy cups are new to him and he is doing pretty well.  Although I think he chews more on the top than actually drinking.  The dogs food and water bowl are also a instant attraction.  If I forget to put them outside, Dylan will have the food and water spilled all over the floor.  I just have to laugh...
