I am now 31 weeks along and feeling bigger and bigger. Well, I guess the scale helps me realize that too. The baby has been incredibly active the last few weeks. It is fun now to see the little body parts poking up from my skin when it moves around. Shane always says that he can't even imagine what that must feel like. It sure is something. What is a little bit more unpleasant are all of the hiccups, but I still love to feel them. They say on all of the website that the baby should weight about 3-3.5 pounds and be about 16-17 inches long. I guess that is why I can feel the baby kicking into my rib cage.
The other update is that we are finally moved into our new house. It is so nice to have somewhere to come home to that actually feels like home. I think that as we make it more and more our own that feeling will grow, especially when we bring our little baby home! Shane and Forrest did most of the moving while I helped with the packing. About three weeks ago I started contracting a lot and was put on some medication to help my contractions slow down. I have also had to cut back at work, so now I am working two 12 hours shifts instead of three which I think has helped a lot too. I never realized how tired I would be. After a 12 hour shift I go home, lay down, and am completely exhausted. I can only hope that it won't get too much worse in the next 8 weeks.
I don't have any pictures right now to post but I will try to get some posted by this weekend.

27 Weeks
Another month goes by and boy do I feel bigger. Shane and I just got back from a great vacation in Wyoming. His cousin and his cousin's wife, Barry and Katie, had come out from Pennsylvania to vacation with us. We first went to Jackson, WY, and spent two nights. One day we took our boat out and floated down the Snake River. We saw buffalo, a bunch of different types of birds, and even some cute little otters. After Jackson we then went to our favorite camping spot on the Grey's River. We fished, camped, ate, and fished more. It was great! I caught the second biggest fish over the four days. Luckily the airmattress was not too bad, it was the mummy sleeping bag that fit a little bit too tight. At night time after the fire went out we could here coyotes. After a while, I just put in my ear plugs so they didn't keep me up. We also went to Yellowstone for a day, that is where the picture of Shane and I is from and also my bare naked belly shot. I will get some more pictures in maybe another week or so.

23 Weeks
Well, this is me now at 23 weeks. Luckily I don't really have any complaints. I have been feeling pretty good, besides just being uncomfortable due to my big belly. I can't even imagine what I will look like in a few more months! Actually, that is kind of scary to think of. It is funny now to be able to feel this little baby moving around so much. In the last week I can actually feel and also see the movements on my belly. I have tried to get Shane to feel but the baby never seems to move very much when his hand is there. I'm sure that will change as the baby grows bigger and bigger and has less and less room to float around in there.
Shane and I are in the final stages of buying a house and in a couple weeks we are going on a camping vacation with Shane's cousin and his wife. I just hope that the air mattress doesn't leak. I can't wait to have nothing to do but relax. I will be sure to post some pictures after vacation.

20 Week Ultrasound Pictures
On Thursday morning we had our 20 week ultrasound. It was so neat to see the baby moving around and then associating the punches and kicks with what I was feeling. The nurse did a good job of making sure everything was normal and explaining what we were looking at. They even gave us a dvd that has about 15 minutes on it of the ultrasound. Although, it does not have what the sex of the baby is because we didn't want to find out. The first pictures are of the profile of the baby.

The next pictures show the feet, actually just one because the baby was moving around so much and never had both feet in a good position to get a clear picture. So one foot and one heel. So cute!
If I can figure out how to upload the video I will get in posted.Thursday, May 21, 2009
17 Weeks

I thought I would post a picture so you all can finally see my belly. I am now 17 weeks and have started to feel like a normal person again. It has been so nice to wake up in the morning and not feel so sick anymore. I occasionally get morning sickness throughout the day but nothing like before. My next appointment is on May 26th and my next ultrasound is on June 11. Hopefully after that my due date will be a little more exact.

9 Weeks
Today I will start my blog about my pregnancy so my family and friends can keep in touch and yes, see my baby bump as it grows.
So far, I have felt extremely nauseated since about 5 weeks. Besides this I have started to have crazy mood swings, poor Shane. To top it all off, fatigue. Although I have still been trying to walk Cash everyday and it seems to make me feel just a little better even if it is just for an hour or so. Luckily, I have still be able to work all my scheduled shifts. The ladies at work are all great and let me take a little breather when I need it. Tonight I actually made and ate tacos and was hungry to eat them which is very unusual. Usually my diet has consisted of cereal, yogurt, saltine crackers, potatoes, and toast. yum-yum!
In a few more weeks I will start to post some pictures and I am also going to start posting again in our regular blog: themowens.blogspot.com
